Overall lovely stay for the price. Fairly clean place & efficient and knowledgeable staff. Good facilities and a delicious breakfast with maple syrup, toast plus cooked dishes. Stunning location in a local area just off bus stop and the Lake District.

The breakfasts included homemade yoghurt and delicious oat pots. Our comfortable double room was impeccably clean, with intuitive shower controls providing hot water instantly. The compact stargazer room felt a bit cramped and lacked room service, which would have added convenience. While the staff was friendly, the lack of recognition for our anniversary reminded me of a missed opportunity for a thoughtful gesture.

The Beautiful King Room with Mountain View was fantastic! Super cozy bed and a beautiful, clean bathroom. The views were amazing, definitely the highlight of the room. There was enough storage for our luggage too. Only downside was the stairs to get there-quite a workout! It was a wonderful experience, but just be ready for some stair climbing!

The room had beautiful decor. The bed was quite comfortable, ensuring great sleep each night. I loved the garden area. It was perfect. The breakfast options were excellent, especially the homemade pastries that stood out. I did face a few issues. My initial room did not have heating in the bathroom, which left towels damp. Some furniture in the common areas seemed worn out, detracting from the overall experience. The location was lovely, but the signage for navigating around the hotel could definitely be improved. Friendly staff were always on hand. Having a pet-friendly environment, albeit with a hefty cleaning fee, was a plus, but I expected more cleanliness for that price. Despite the hiccups, I left with fond memories of my time there.

Perfect for a Family Trip
We had an upgrade upon arrival, a nice surprise. The breakfast in the garden conservatory was a delight. The staff made sure my little girl got her scrambled eggs fit for a princess, and that was the icing on the cake for us.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but that's to be expected.

Perfect stay with our pup
The room was perfect for our big Weimaraner, super comfy bed, and amazing shower. Loved the beautiful views of the hills too! Breakfast was good, tho could've used a bit more variety. Staff was friendly and let us chill in the breakfast room longer, nice.

Comfortable stay with friendly staff
We had a nice weekend, but our room was a bit of a letdown. It had some cleanliness issues, made it hard to relax. On the bright side, the staff was super friendly, and we loved the cozy breakfast spot. Just a shame the kitchen was closed when we got there.

The welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made for an enjoyable experience, although parking was limited, forcing us to use the nearby paid car park. The room was clean and cozy, but it could have used a bit more attention to detail, like restocking tea bags and a tidier touch on the last day.
